Front Loading Oedometer

UTS-0300

The UTS-0300 front loading oedometer is rigidly constructed to keep frame distortion to a minimum. It loads the specimen through a lever arm assembly with one of three alternative beam ratios (9:1, 10:1 and 11:1), and its cell platform accepts the complete range of UTEST consolidation cells. It is used for the one-dimensional consolidation test to determine the consolidation characteristics of soils of low permeability.
